Terms of service.

EFFECTIVE 1 MAY 2026

1. Who's bound by this

You — when you sign up for Crew Studio or use the service. Us — Desmi D. Loemba, operating as Crew Studio, based in Paris, France.

2. What you get

Access to Crew Studio at the tier you paid for. Standard tier is €199/month (€1,990/year). Founding tier is €99/month (€990/year) for the first 50 customers, locked at that rate for as long as your subscription stays active and uninterrupted.

3. What you owe

The subscription fee, billed monthly via Stripe in advance. All prices are in EUR, excluding any VAT applicable to you. VAT is added at checkout where required.

4. Acceptable use

Don't use Crew Studio to generate content that violates the rights of others, that's defamatory, that's used for spam at scale, or that we'd find on a banned-list of any reasonable platform. We reserve the right to suspend an account that breaches this, with a 7-day notice unless the breach is ongoing harm.

5. Your IP, our IP

Your content stays yours. The studios you build, the briefs you write, the work your crew produces — all yours. No license to us beyond what's strictly required to run the service for you.

Our code stays ours. The Crew Studio software, the design system, the brand. We retain all rights, except where explicitly granted (e.g. the export feature gives you JSON of your studio data, not the software itself).

6. Money back

30 days, no questions. Email billing@crew.studio within 30 days of your first paid charge, get a full refund. After 30 days you can cancel anytime — the cancellation is effective at the end of your current billing cycle.

7. Uptime + outages

We target 99.5% monthly uptime. Status at /status. Major outages over 4h in a calendar month earn an automatic 1-day credit per impacted day.

8. Liability

Crew Studio is provided "as is". Our liability to you is capped at the fees you paid us over the previous 12 months. We don't compensate for indirect or consequential damages.

9. Termination

You can cancel anytime. We can terminate for breach (notably §4) with notice ; for non-payment after 14 days past due ; or with 30 days' notice for any reason. On termination you get 30 days to export your data.

10. Law + venue

French law governs these terms. Disputes go to the courts of Paris unless you're a consumer protected by your local law, in which case your local courts apply.

11. Changes

We update these terms when needed. Material changes go out by email to active customers with 30 days' notice. Continued use after that means you accept the new terms.
